A Message to Our Learning Lodge Customers

We are very sorry for the cyber attack in November 2015, and the subsequent closure of our Learning Lodge service. We are pleased to inform you that after further strengthening our data protection, the Learning Lodge® service is now back online with the resumption of key functions. Customers of Learning Lodge connected products, with the exception of InnoTV™, and some other products, can now access and manage their Learning Lodge account securely. As a security measure, we strongly suggest you log in to your account as soon as you can and change your password.

The Learning Lodge app store has also re-opened. Except for those of InnoTV and some other products, customers can now download appropriate content, including games, e-books, videos and more from the app store.

We apologise that our Kid Connect service is still unavailable at this time, as is access to the Learning Lodge for InnoTV and some other products. We expect Learning Lodge access for these products to resume in February. We are also working hard to resume the Kid Connect service as soon as possible. We want to assure you that we are committed to the privacy and protection of the information you entrust with VTech. With the assistance of one of the world’s leading cyber security teams, we have taken a number of measures to strengthen data protection on the Learning Lodge and our other connected services. We will continue to work on further security improvements so that your children can enjoy their VTech toys knowing that their related data and yours are secure.

Things to Note When Returning to Learning Lodge

We made various improvements on the Learning Lodge program and its network, please see below for the things you will need to do in order to regain access.

Update Learning Lodge Program
  • When you run the Learning Lodge program after service is resumed, a pop up will appear to tell you there is an available update.
  • The update will then be automatically downloaded and installed on your computer.
  • Once the update is done, the Learning Lodge will re-launch automatically.

Change Your Account Password
  • When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to change your password.
  • Please type your current password, and a new password in the next prompt. Click "OK" to continue.

Parental Consent
  • You also need to consent to VTech’s data gathering practices. A detailed explanation of this will be displayed in a pop-up window.
  • You need to click the “I accept” button to provide your consent to the conditions in order to proceed.

If you wish to cancel your Learning Lodge account, follow the instructions below.

Important: By cancelling your Learning Lodge account, you will lose access to all content purchased with the account and any features that require an account to function. Please read the messages displayed during the cancellation process for more information.

Cancel Account - Use the Learning Lodge Program
  • Log in to your Learning Lodge account.
  • Click “My Account” in the top navigation bar.
  • Click the “Cancel Account” button.
  • Read the information in the pop-up dialog and click “Proceed” to continue.
  • An email will be sent to your Learning Lodge account email. Click the link provided in the email.
  • Type your password to confirm your ownership of the account and click “Confirm”.

Cancel Account - Use a Web Browser
  • Click the link below to go to the Account Cancellation page:

  • Log in by providing your Learning Lodge login email address and password.
  • Read the information on the next page and click “Proceed” to continue.
  • An email will be sent to your Learning Lodge account email. Click the link provided in the email.
  • Type your password to confirm your ownership of the account and click “Confirm”.
