SHOUT is really excited to perform today. He’s so excited that he’s developed a case of loco legs, which according to Shout is “…when your knees are boppin’, your feet are hoppin’ and your legs just aren’t stoppin’!” Ever the creative thinking band, The Fresh Beats come up with an ingenious plan that will enable Shout to perform at school with KIKI, MARINA, and TWIST, even with a case of the loco legs. They all do the loco legs dance. Their teacher, Ms. Piccolo, loves their performance and everyone has a rockin’ good time!

It’s MS. PICCOLO’S birthday and KIKI, MARINA, TWIST, and SHOUT have a special surprise planned for her. They’re going to decorate the music room with new wallpaper and birthday party goodies - streamers, and balloons. But when The Fresh Beat Band arrives at music school, each with their own ideas about how to wallpaper the music room, they decide to work separately and their surprise for Ms. Piccolo quickly turns into a sticky wallpapery mess. They decide that the only way to wallpaper the music room and surprise Ms. Piccolo is to work together. They wallpaper the music room beautifully and Ms. Piccolo is surprised and delighted, especially when they present her with her birthday present… a piccolo!

Tonight at the Groovy Smoothie, MARINA is playing a big drum solo during The Fresh Beat Band’s performance. While playing a sneak preview for KIKI, TWIST, and SHOUT, Marina pounds on her drums so ferociously that they collapse. The Fresh Beats try to replace her broken drums with a teeny tiny set, which produces a teeny tiny sound. So they decide to scavenge the neighborhood to find stuff to make a drum set. They unearth all kinds of cool stuff like trashcan lids, pipes, and even a table at the Groovy Smoothie that makes a sound like a bass drum. With the hodgepodge of found items, Marina salvages her big drum solo. Kiki, Twist, and Shout even start playing items they find around the neighborhood too. They play bicycle spokes, bouncy basketballs, and glass bottles. It’s not long before the street becomes a stompin’ music ground, proving that you can make music out of anything.
